It’s the latest and most exciting craze to take London by storm - and it's about to transform the world of adult snacking.
Cheers Luxury Alcoholic Ice Cream, within weeks of it’s launch in October 2016, won praise from the likes of Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, actors Dominic Cooper and Sadie Frost, TV presenter Laura Whitmore and radio DJ Scott Mills – to name but a few. To date, the product can be purchased from Selfridges, luxury department store, Amazon Fresh and Everyman Cinemas as well as through one of the UK's biggest distribution company, Brakes.
Due to the extremely fast-growing popularity, the brand was asked earlier this year to appear
on ITV’s This Morning to feature the products. Hosts Holly Willoughby, Phillip
Schofield and Bradley Walsh all fell in love with the different flavours, and when Holly tasted the Red Wine flavour, she said: “Oh my god, that’s so nice!” To see more of their reactions follow this link here -
As a result from the national TV appearance, the website encountered a high of 82 clicks a second and social media pages experienced a surge of new followers.

The variety of flavours means it has mass appeal. The range consists of; Toffee +
Vodka (6.51% ABV), Mojito (4.59% ABV), Red Wine (2.38% ABV), Strawberry Daiquiri (3.75% ABV) and Chocolate Espresso Martini (3.52% ABV). They come in 120ml pots with a spoon in the lid and are just perfect for every occasion!

The Toffee + Vodka flavour is actually the strongest alcoholic ice cream you can buy in the UK with an astounding 6.51% ABV.

Lee Caulfield, Nick Corjon and Charlie Kavanagh came up with the idea of alcoholic ice cream in November 2015. Charlie has worked as a professional chef for the past 10 years and so had the knowledge and experience to develop five specially crafted and unique recipes for the ice cream. Nick and Lee met while working as assistants for high profile individuals and celebrities, and decided that with those connections, knowledge of PR and how to drive forward a brand, they had the resources necessary to go into business together.

Inspiration sparked organically one night when the group discussed their shared passion for creating a unique food product: something luxurious, delicious and a little bit sexy. They all loved sweet
desserts and wanted to create something fun but for adults only and decided to incorporate alcohol. That’s when Cheers Luxury Alcoholic Ice Cream was born.

Charlie spent 6 months perfecting the recipes, which consisted of all three founders eating a lot of boozy ice cream. To ensure the quality of the ice cream was the best it could be, they made sure only premium alcohol and organic ingredients was used and no stabilizers (e numbers).

Lee’s identical twin brother (Nicky Caulfield) came on board as part of the team to assist as well as the incredible full-time designer and brand manager Federico Eccher.
It has taken a year of hard work but they finally launched in October 2016 and have already taken part in various street markets and shows including, London Cocktail Week and The Chocolate Show as well as various events, with more on the way.

Their goal is to be the first alcoholic ice cream available to the mass market in the UK and in time, across the world.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR 2017?...
Cheers s now manufactured in a factory in Somerset that is BRC AA accredited, the highest certification that can be achieved.

Cheers will become available throughout Hilton hotels in the UK on their room service menu as well as behind the bar. Starting in April, you will be to purchase Cheers nationwide through the UKs largest online grocery store, Ocado.

It has now been confirmed from AEG Europe, that the ice cream contract at Hammersmith Eventim Apollo (previously Hammersmith Apollo) will be taken over by Cheers Luxury Alcoholic Ice Cream from March / April 2017 for a 3 year deal.

Further plans for the summer include all major music festivals in the UK and talks are underway for stock list opportunities in Marbella, Ibiza, Mallorca. From September, plans are in progress to expand retail options and export to Dubai (U.A.E) as well as Sydney (Australia).

Charlie and the team are working on new flavours which will be launched throughout the year and also available in 5 kilo tubs .
