Briefly About Elvan Group...
The foundations of Elvan Group were laid at a tiny candy store located in Zeytinburnu district of Istanbul, in 1952. That small business run by chocolate master Ahmet Hamdi Kadiroğlu and his son, Mustafa, first evolved into a workshop and then into a chain of factories, with the combination of mastership and sales skills.
Elvan introduced a new vision to the confectionery industry by establishing the first R&D Center in the industry. The company was rewarded with the Innovation Award by Istanbul Chamber of Industry, in 2013, on the grounds of such achievements. Elvan has been deemed worthy of the R&D Leader Award by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology since 2015, which confirms the company's leadership in this field.
Ranked as the third largest sugar products exporters in Türkiye, on the basis of tonnage, with a turnover of USD 200 million in 2023, Elvan Group exports to 170 countries in 6 continents. As a company that exports to the highest number of countries in the industry, Elvan Group holds the leading position for industrial exports to Africa, Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe and Latin America.
Elvan Group provides employment to nearly 4,500 people at factories in Türkiye, Egypt, Italy and the USA, and strengthens its position in the confectionery industry, with each passing day, through new investments and purchases.
Achieving the biggest energy investment of the industry in 2023, Elvan Group has become the first big food company that meets its entire electric power need by using local and renewable energy, thanks to the solar power plants it brought into being in Erzurum province.
Elvan Group is also assertive in the domestic retail industry as its 70 stores in 8 provinces, as well as its online sales channel, makes the company a source of trust in the hearts of mothers and a sweet sparkle in children's eyes.
