BitesWeLove expands UK presence with crave-worthy snack range and upcoming product innovation

BitesWeLove, the Dutch snack brand redefining the way we think about cravings, is continuing its expansion in the UK following its launch in mid-2025. With a focus on "snacks worth craving," the brand brings together crave-worthy taste, satisfying textures, and ingredients that fuel real-life moments. The brand entered the UK market in 2025 with its Chewy Oat Bars, launching into WholeFoods Market. Following strong early performance, BitesWeLove expanded its presence in early 2026 with the addition of its Crispy Protein Bars, further building out its retail offering.
Chewy Oat Bars: everyday cravings, properly met
The Chewy Oat Bar range is designed for the moments when you want something soft, satisfying and genuinely enjoyable. Available in Chocolate, Cinnamon and Vanilla — with Coconut Brownie and Salted Caramel arriving later this year — the bars deliver on comfort-led flavours without compromise.
What sets the Chewy Oat Bar apart is a nutritional profile that outperforms the category: each 30g bar contains approximately 8.7g of fibre (more than three times the fibre of many traditional oat bars), less than 1g of total sugar, and around 114 kcal — all with zero added sugar and no artificial sweeteners. The bars are non-HFSS and are free from gluten, peanuts, nuts, soy, lactose and sesame, making them one of the only allergen-free options in the bar aisle. They are also fully vegan.
The bars achieve their unique soft, chewy texture through a thoughtful combination of gluten-free wholegrain oats, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, and a binding syrup made from chicory root fibre — replacing the sugar syrup found in traditional oat bars with a natural, fibre-rich alternative that adds nutritional value rather than empty calories.
Crispy Protein Bars: fuel for real life, not just the gym
Expanding the range in 2026, BitesWeLove introduced its Protein Bars in Cookies & Cream and Cinnamon Roll, and launched Caramel Fudge this month.
Positioned beyond traditional sports nutrition, the bars are created for everyday life moments — from busy commutes to afternoon energy dips. Each 50g bar delivers 14–15g of plant-based protein and 13g of fibre, with a maximum of 190 kcal and just 3.1g of sugar per bar. Like the Chewy Oat Bars, they contain no artificial sweeteners and are non-HFSS.
The BWL Crispy Protein Bar is currently the only high-protein bar on the Dutch market (>14g protein per bar) to hold a Nutri-Score A — a category where competitors almost universally score D or below, and where artificial sweeteners or high sugar content are the norm. Competing bars without artificial sweeteners typically contain five times more sugar. The Crispy Protein Bars are also free from gluten, peanuts, nuts, lactose and sesame, and are fully vegan. Their distinctive light and crispy texture comes from protein crispies made from pea and soy protein isolate, giving each bar a satisfying bite that sets it apart from the dense or chewy textures typical of the category.
Coming soon: Crunchy Protein Cookie Bars
Building on its mission to create snacks that give more, BitesWeLove will soon launch its Crunchy Protein Cookie Bars range in the UK, available in four flavours: Speculaas, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, and Salted Caramel.
The Crunchy Protein Cookie Bars continue the brand's commitment to balanced nourishment alongside genuine flavour. Each portion delivers 10g of protein and 6–7g of fibre, with around 190 kcal and just 4g of sugar. All four varieties are 100% wholegrain, fully vegan and non-HFSS, made with all-natural ingredients that tap into the growing demand for less processed, more recognisable foods. This balance of satisfaction and nourishment also makes them a smart choice for consumers seeking more considered snacking options, including those influenced by GLP-1-driven habits.
