ECCEUKCH
Stand: N3070
A Temporary Association of Companies (ATI), bringing together OL.MA. – Collegio Toscano degli Olivicoltori, OP Latium and the Association of Exporters of Crete (EAC), has been established to implement the Ecceukch Programme, co-financed by the European Union under Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014, with the objective of strengthening the positioning of high-quality European Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the United Kingdom and Switzerland by promoting certified quality schemes, sustainability, traceability and authenticity.
OL.MA., officially recognised as a Producer Organisation in 2015, is one of the largest olive oil organisations in Tuscany. With 1,488 recognised members, the organisation concentrates 90% of its production in Tuscan PGI olive oil, alongside organic and 100% Italian certified production. OL.MA. manages 6 olive processing lines, 10 bottling lines and over 100 nitrogen storage tanks, ensuring optimal conservation and freshness. The organisation guarantees full traceability through the national SIAN system and operates under strict quality controls at every stage — from harvesting and milling to bottling. Its mission combines tradition and innovation, offering free agronomic and technical assistance to members and pursuing concentration of supply, quality enhancement and product valorisation within a strong territorial supply chain.
OP Latium, the largest olive oil Producer Organisation in the Lazio Region, represents more than 9,000 direct and indirect members across 12,500 hectares of olive groves. The organisation includes over 20 cooperatives and 40 mills, supported by a structure of around 70 employees, including 16 technical specialists. Its portfolio includes a wide range of certified productions: 100% Italian EVOO (including organic and sustainable certified), Sabina DOP, Tuscia DOP, Canino DOP and other denominations. OP Latium holds major certifications such as BRC, IFS, UNI EN ISO 22005 for traceability, and adheres to integrated and organic production standards in line with EU legislation. Sustainability — environmental, social and economic — is central to its industrial strategy, ensuring fair remuneration to producers while contributing to climate resilience and biodiversity protection.
The Association of Exporters of Crete (EAC), with 250 exporting member companies, has over 30 years of experience in promoting Cretan agri-food products, including PDO and PGI olive oils. Through a coordinated regional marketing approach and consolidated participation in leading international trade fairs, EAC enhances the international visibility of Cretan quality products and supports the expansion of export-oriented companies.
Together, the ATI partners represent a powerful Mediterranean alliance committed to promoting European excellence, certified quality and sustainable olive oil production in strategic third-country markets.
