Burren Balsamics was founded in 2014 with the idea of creating 100% natural infused Balsamic Vinegars using as much local produce as possible. At the time the products were created in the traditional manner – allowing the fruit and the vinegar to infuse for some time in barrels. Three years later Bob joined the company and so began the journey into innovative and modernist cooking techniques allowing us to cut the production time dramatically and enabling us to keep up the growing demand for the vinegars. This dramatic change also allowed the reuse of many of the infusing ingredients which then became the chutney/relish/marmalade range; one of which is served on a national airline as part of the pre-dinner service. The constant strive for innovation and forward thinking ideas has allowed us to expand the range of products into seasoning mixes (all of which contain one of our vinegars dehydrated) and cocktail ingredients.
