Yves Michaud, engineer and beekeeper started the Famille Michaud Apiculteurs back in th 20's. In 1957 he launched an automated production line and created a year after that, our first brand, Lune de Miel. in 1965, his son implemented Lune de Miel in the modern retail industry which was beginning to expand. In the 70's Lune de Miel was even the first brand to exist in France on the market!
A few years ago, we started partnership with Serge and François Dubois, two passionate cousins who grew up in the heart of a family sugar bush. Appalaches Nature, in the heart of Quebec and its maple groves, hosts now our production site for Maple Syrup.
Willing to offer a new way to eat sugar, our company also introduced Agave Syrup in France via our brands Sunny via and Sunny Bio and has also developped Coconut Sugar or Agave Powder these last few years.
