Mayendeleyo Cooperative Group

Created in August 2016, the MAYENDELEYO cooperative group is an agricultural and agrifood cooperative, which specializes in the production, preparation and export of vanilla and other aromatic and medicinal plants and herbs from the Comoros. It has as members vanilla producers and processors and of other spices and aromatic and medicinal herbs. The cooperative is composed of 36 members, including 12 women and 24 men. Additionally, since 2017, the cooperative has been working with more than 150 producers and processors of vanilla aswell as of the other plants and aromatic herbs.
