D. Nomikos S.A. was founded in 1915, on the
island of Santorini and was the first tomato factory in South Eastern Europe.
Three generations and more than 100 years later, the company continues to
specialize in manufacturing of tomato products for industrial, food service and
retail use. Today D. Nomikos S.A. continues to be 100% family owned and is the
biggest tomato processing company in Greece, and one of the biggest privately
owned in Europe. Latest company achievement: in 2022 D.Nomikos has started the
production of Apple Puree for industrial use.
D. Nomikos owns three state-of-the-art plants in Greece, with a capacity of over 350,000 tons of fresh fruit, where a full range of tomato and apple products are produced in packages suitable for industrial, food service and retail channels.
