BettaF!sh has combined seaweed with legumes to create the most delicious vegan alternative to tuna on the market – 100% plant-based and without any soy or wheat. David Zilber, ex-Head of Fermentation at Noma Copenhagen even had this to say about our TU-NAH: “This is the first legume-based animal protein alternative I couldn’t stop eating. It was actually not just good, but delicious.” The first BettaF!sh products to hit the shelves were our convenience sandwiches and frozen pizzas: We launched the three flavors of our TU-NAH Sandwiches in October 2021 in 4,000 ALDI stores across Germany, making it the biggest launch the alternative seafood industry has ever seen. Currently, our products are available at retailers around Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Austria.
