The Spanish Chorizo Consortium is an Association of companies in the Spanish meat
sector, dedicated to the production and export of chorizo. Its main objective is to
guarantee the authenticity and quality of Spanish chorizo, promoting its
internationalisation.
The Consortium's Spanish Chorizo seal certifies that the chorizo is of entirely Spanish
origin and guarantees its quality. This label guarantees a rigorous control of the product,
establishing a recognised and reliable brand for its commercialisation in international
markets. The vast majority of chorizo formats fall under this label: sarta, vela, sliced,
cular, fresh, oreado, Iberian, etc.
