Chef and Food Consultant, Sutra Kitchen
Jay Morjaria is a chef and food consultant. In 2013, he founded Sutra Kitchen, central London’s first meat free cooking school, located in Carnaby St. In the same year he wrote his debut cookbook ‘Share’, a unique collection of simple global recipes. A year of culinary training in Korea and Japan increased his expertise in East Asian food leading to the launch of his Modern Asian brand, Dynasty. In the past year, he has worked with the Korean and Japanese Embassies, prominent Chefs and food brands as well as hosted a series of sold out supper clubs across London and UK all with a plant forward ethos. Dynasty and Jay were featured on national TV on BBC2's new restaurant show, Million Pound Menu. Jay regularly makes appearances on BBC Radio as well as hosting food shows and panels at trade shows.
