Cacto Drinks Company unveiled its latest innovation, Prickly Pear Cactus Water, at IFE 2026, introducing what it described as a new soft drinks category to the UK market.

Launched on 31 March at Excel London, the still beverage blended prickly pear purée with fresh water to create a crisp and refreshing drink positioned around natural hydration and clean ingredients. The launch marked Cacto Drinks’ debut at IFE, the UK’s largest and most successful product sourcing platform for food and drink discovery.

Inspired by the distinctive flavour and functional properties of prickly pear, the drink was made with no added sugar, sweeteners, artificial flavourings or colours. The result was a light, fruit-forward soft drink designed to appeal to increasingly health-conscious consumers seeking more natural alternatives.

Presented in a sleek 330ml can, Prickly Pear Cactus Water was designed to stand out both on shelf and in chillers, offering buyers a visually distinctive and category-defining product.

Visitors to IFE were able to discover the new launch and sample the range at stand N5012, where Cacto Drinks also showcased its existing portfolio, including Original Prickly Pear, Ruby Pineapple, White Peach, and Kiwi & Strawberry variants.

Cacto Drinks invited buyers and industry professionals to explore the potential of cactus water and experience a flavour profile that remained relatively undiscovered in the UK market.
