Coroos to showcase Legusol®, a clean label solution for hybrid meat applications at IFE 2026
Legusol®

Coroos (Stand N3270) will present Legusol®, its new pulse-based ingredient designed for hybrid meat applications, at IFE 2026, taking place from 30 March to 01 April at Excel London.

Developed to support manufacturers responding to growing demand for meat reduction and plant-forward products, Legusol® combines proteins, fibres and starches from pulses in a single, ready-to-use ingredient. It enables producers to reduce meat content while maintaining key product qualities including taste, texture, moisture and emulsification.

Produced using Coroos’ mild preservation technology, Legusol® delivers consistent quality, a two-year shelf life and straightforward integration into existing production processes. The ingredient is 100% clean label, low in fat, high in fibre and pH neutral, offering both functional and nutritional benefits.

By incorporating Legusol® into production, manufacturers can achieve up to 20% reductions in processing costs, alongside a lower carbon footprint compared to traditional meat processing methods.

Alongside Legusol®, Coroos will showcase its wider portfolio of natural, plant-based, allergen-free ingredients, including pre-cooked pulses and ready-to-use pastes. All solutions can be tailored to existing recipes and production requirements, helping manufacturers improve efficiency and reduce operational complexity.

Visitors to the stand will be able to explore how Coroos works with manufacturers to develop customised ingredient systems for hybrid meat and plant-forward applications.

Mark Roscoe, Managing Director at Food Team International, said: “As the UK distributors for Coroos, we work closely with our customers to develop fully tailored and scalable plant-based solutions for modern food production, and we are proud that our Coroos product range has consistently given our customers cost and time saving solutions that have positively impacted their operational efficiency and sustainability goals”.
