A selection of food and drink brands exhibiting at IFE 2027 have been recognised in the Great Taste Awards 2026, highlighting the quality and variety of products buyers will be able to discover at the event.

Everyday Superfood, Paul Rhodes Bakery, GOOD PHATS, Brown Bag Crisps and MORiSH Snacks are among the IFE exhibitors to have received awards this year, with winning products spanning bakery, snacks, cooking fats and health-focused ingredients.

Organised by the Guild of Fine Food, Great Taste is an internationally recognised food and drink accreditation scheme. More than 15,000 products from 3,919 companies across 116 countries were entered in 2026, marking a record year for the awards.

Products were assessed over 105 days by more than 800 chefs, critics, product developers, retailers, writers and other food and drink specialists. Entries were presented without branding or packaging and judged primarily on taste, followed by appearance, aroma, texture and mouthfeel.

A total of 4,286 products received one star, signifying that judges considered them “simply delicious”, while 1,596 received two stars and were described as “outstanding”. A further 306 products secured the coveted three-star rating, awarded to products deemed “exquisite and extraordinary”.

Recent YouGov research commissioned by the Guild of Fine Food found that the Great Taste logo is recognised by 58% of UK adults. Among those familiar with it, 74% said an award makes a product more tempting to buy and 73% considered the logo a trustworthy recommendation.

For retail and wholesale buyers, the awards can provide a valuable signpost towards products that have undergone independent blind judging.

Isabelle McKeever, Event Manager for IFE, said: “Congratulations to all the IFE exhibitors recognised in the Great Taste Awards 2026. Independent accreditation can play an important role in helping products stand out in a busy market and gives buyers another reason to take a closer look.

“We look forward to welcoming this year’s winners to IFE 2027 and giving visitors the opportunity to discover and sample their award-winning products in person.”

Everyday Superfood

Everyday Superfood offers a broad portfolio spanning superfood powders, vegan protein powders, nuts and seeds, cacao, dried fruit, mushrooms, coconut products, seaweed and saffron.

The company received two Great Taste stars for its Dried Ginger Pieces, while its Organic Cacao Powder and Organic Ceremonial Matcha Tea each secured one star.

The results reflect continued interest in versatile ingredients that can bring distinctive flavours and nutritional benefits to drinks, snacks, bakery products and everyday meals.

Paul Rhodes Bakery

London-based Paul Rhodes Bakery was one of the most successful IFE exhibitors in this year’s awards, receiving recognition for nine products across its bakery range.

Its vegan Apple, Date & Hazelnut Mini Cakes received the highest possible rating of three stars. The bakery also secured two stars for its Flourless Chocolate Cake, Fruit & Nut Soda Bread and Indulgent Chocolate Cake.

Five further products received one star:

  • Carrot Cake
  • Heritage Sourdough Bloomer
  • Pain Au Kimchi
  • Sage Emmer Loaf
  • Villages Sourdough (IPA)

The breadth of the winning products demonstrates the bakery’s ability to combine familiar cakes and breads with more distinctive flavours, formats and ingredients.

GOOD PHATS

GOOD PHATS specialises in cooking oils and fats designed for frying, roasting, cooking and finishing.

The brand’s Organic British Grass-Fed Beef Tallow received two stars, while its Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil secured one star.

The awards recognise two products from opposite ends of the brand’s range and reflect renewed consumer and buyer interest in the provenance, flavour and functionality of cooking fats.

Brown Bag Crisps

Family-run Brown Bag Crisps produces hand-cooked crisps from its base in Surrey and has a longstanding commitment to supporting independent retailers.

Its Oak-smoked Chilli crisps received one star in the 2026 awards. The flavour combines the heat of Scotch Bonnet chilli with a distinctive oak-smoked seasoning.

The company’s wider range includes Lightly Salted, Rosemary and Sea Salt, Tiger Prawn, Aberdeen Angus Beef and Onion, and West Country Farmhouse Cheddar and Onion.

MORiSH Snacks

MORiSH Snacks received one star for two products from its crispy seaweed range: Crispy Sesame Oil Seaweed Snacks and Crispy Shiitake Seaweed Snacks.

The company produces savoury snacks intended to combine bold flavours with ingredients that naturally contain protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals. Its wider portfolio includes air-dried beef and crunchy pork snacks alongside its seaweed range.

The two awards reflect the growing profile of seaweed as a convenient savoury snack and a vehicle for umami-led flavours.

These businesses are among the Great Taste Award winners preparing to exhibit at IFE 2027, taking place from 5 to 7 April at Excel London as part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week. Visitors will be able to meet the producers, sample their products and explore opportunities to introduce their ranges to retail, wholesale and foodservice markets.
