Each shortlist was extremely competitive choosing our winners was a difficult task for our judges.

"The food and drink sector is deeply rooted in communities around the UK, and these awards vividly illustrate how consistently companies are delivering outstanding products to consumers, even during challenging times. Many of our award winners are at the forefront of change in our sector, among other things bringing exciting innovations in food and drink to market and ensuring our products are as good for the planet as they are nutritious and enjoyable.

"I would like to thank KPMG for being our headline sponsor and Clarke Energy for sponsoring our pre-awards drinks reception. And we're now very much looking forward to opening applications for our 2024 awards."

Linda Ellett, UK Head of Consumer Markets, Retail and Leisure, KPMG, said: "Inflation, supply chain disruption, energy costs, rapid technological advancements - and consumer behaviour change related to all of this - has ensured that it’s been another fast-paced and challenging year for companies operating in the UK’s food and drink sector.  Facing these challenges head on, the sector continues to serve communities right across the country and KPMG is proud to help celebrate the showcasing of the industry."
