Hamish is a cultured creative and has a wealth of experience spanning film, theatre, events and art. As Creative Director, he co-founded his own agency The Department in 2013. It is the world's first immersive experiential agency bringing together cutting edge tech, creative content and theatrical performance to deliver one of a kind experiences for some of the world's biggest brands and shows: FIFA, IWC, BMW, Lexus, ASICS, Adidas and the BBC to name a few. Fascinated by the new tech innovations, Hamish has used his wide knowledge of creating large-scale immersive worlds to push the boundaries of what XR can do. The use of augmented storytelling and 'lived' experiences has fast-tracked during the current Covid-19 pandemic, and The Department has been well-positioned to bring stunning new concepts to client projects.
