Originally from Avignon in the South of France, Lauris Tanche is a graduate of the Food Engineering Programme at Polytech in Montpellier. Lauris is currently a Food Science Engineer at New Food Innovation, working on the use of machine learning to support new product development at several large European food manufacturing clients. His recent work has involved building AI agents to analyse NPD data, creating RAG systems to answer team queries, and using multi-objective Bayesian optimisation to make more accurate recipe predictions. Lauris is currently developing specialist training programmes to support companies looking to use AI in product development.
