An experienced individual with a background in science, health and communication. Initially working with a range of clients to address food ingredients concerned with improving public health, collaborating with expert scientists working in the field of food science. This work led to a senior role in the fast moving food retail environment to develop and deliver comprehensive policies and strategies to drive health improvements in products and deliver business growth. Building strong connections with consumer organisations and Government bodies helped inform policy recommendations and successful product reformulations that delivered on taste and health and contributed to wider sustainability goals for a forward looking business. More recently, work with Campden BRI on assessing research projects helped build a network of new food research scientists and in 2024 I joined the BBSRC panel on bioscience and health looking at new areas of research for the UKRI
