Robert (Bobby) Edge-Partington is the Senior Communications Manager at IFST. Robert leads IFST’s internal and external communications and media relations and focusses on raising the profile of the Institute with different audiences. He is also the project chair for IFST’s Jubilee 60 campaign, working with the IFST Executive Team on a unique programme to celebrate 60 years since the Institute was founded.

Robert has a background in sustainability and science communications and has previously worked for the United Nations, the University of Oxford, and as a science communications specialist, focussing on communicating climate science and sustainability. Robert previously studied for an MSc in Environmental Change and Management at the University of Oxford’s Environmental Change Institute, where his research covered food system resilience in Puerto Rico, with a focus on vertical farming. Robert also holds a bachelor's degree from the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Sciences Po).
