Westfalia Fruit UK are thrilled win the Waste Not Want Not category in The Grocer Gold Awards for our pioneering work using whole avocado fruit and ensuring no waste throughout the supply chain.

For over five years Westfalia Fruit have been exploring innovative ways of utilising our whole crop of avocados and further securing the supply chain. With the most diverse production footprint globally, Westfalia Fruit has the unique benefit of both supplying quality avocados 52 weeks of the year from sustainable production and successfully utilising all our growers fruit within our product range.

We are the first UK operation to convert our surplus avocado fruit into a safe, high-quality avocado pulp through high-pressure processing (HPP). Our range has been further developed to include guacamole, smashed avocado, soups, gelato, smoothies and uniquely beauty products including avocado stones as an exfoliator.
