IFE announces wide-ranging partnership with the Food & Drink Federation for 2023

IFE, International Food & Drink Event and sister show IFE Manufacturing have announced a substantial new partnership with the Food & Drink Federation (FDF) which will see the organisation curate a day of content on the shows’ Sustainability Stage.

For over 100 years the FDF has served as a powerful voice for the UK’s vibrant, resilient and diverse food and drink manufacturing industry, contributing to policy-making and legislative development and championing its members’ views.

The organisation will be working with the shows to provide support and insights to visitors representing food & drink brands and manufacturers in the food & drink sector, from innovative startups to global industry players.

FDF Head of Industry Growth Caroline Keohane comments: “IFE and IFE Manufacturing bring together a stellar range of events and speakers to showcase the opportunities and challenges across our sector. With such a vast range of companies and products on show, it’s the perfect chance to build the networks and find the leads to grow your business.”

The Sustainability Stage at IFE is a new addition for the 2023, reflecting the importance of keeping the issue front and centre of industry conversation at a time when it threatens to slip down the agenda in the face of the cost-of-living crisis and global supply chain challenges.

The FDF team will be curating the content for the Sustainability Stage on Tuesday 21 March, focussing on a number of key issues within this broad heading.

FDF Head of Climate Change & Energy Policy Emma Piercy says: “The FDF is delighted to be partnering with IFE for the inaugural Sustainability Stage at this world class event.

“Global food systems make up around one quarter of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Bringing all stakeholders together and collaborating at IFE is essential to building the resilient and sustainable food systems we need.”

Event Director Philippa Christer concludes: “The Food & Drink Federation are a hugely important player in the UK food & drink industry, and we’re delighted that they will be supporting the development of the Sustainability Stage and curating content that gets right to the heart of what matters to food & drink manufacturers, brands and consumers.”
