I have been involved in exporting for over 30 years starting as an employee of a major blue-chip corporation and heading up their export department, to starting and developing my own businesses for the past 25 years. Selling in every continent around the Globe I am well placed to talk about the benefits of exporting.

During this time, I have developed a wealth of experience and now relish the fact that my legacy will be encouraging and enthusing British businesses to take their businesses to overseas markets and to do so, in the best possible shape that they can. I am especially determined to embrace everyone and promote the broader work of the DBT to the United Kingdom. This country has a proud heritage for exporting, I want to help build an even prouder future for it.

A native of Merseyside I take pride in my enthusiasm and passion for exporting and freely accept the challenge in showing how others can take themselves to the world and working with my colleagues at the DBT the best kept secret is now out. The UK Export Academy Program is live.
