Prior to forming this Scottish/Moroccan Olive Oil Company with his friend and colleague Gordon Davidson, Bob has performed a variety of senior roles over the past forty years within the Bottled Water/Soft Drinks and Brewing Industries. As Production and Distribution Director for the Strathmore Mineral Water Company, overseeing the growth of bottled water as the company transitioned from Matthew Clark /Constellation Brands ownership to A G Barr.

He is a Master Brewer holding a Brewing Degree from Heriot-Watt University as well as a Business Diploma from Durham University Business School. His brewing career at both John Smiths and Vaux Breweries covered all aspects of the brewing process of many well known international brands. He is a Life Member of the Institute of Brewing. Bob’s NGO work included Chairmanship of the British Soft Drinks Association Bottled Waters Group, leading to appointment as Treasurer and Vice President of the European Federation of Bottled Waters (Natural Mineral Waters Europe). He is currently Company Secretary of the charitable arm of the BSDA and was appointed an Honorary Member of the BSDA for his services to the Industry in 2018.
