Rowena is a trade mark partner in Kilburn & Strode’s London team and has been ranked as one of MIP’s “Top 250 Women in IP”. She helps businesses protect and build value in their brands and leads the firm’s Food & Drink sector group. With 20 years of experience, Rowena specialises in helping UK-based businesses in their international growth, as well as foreign companies for whom the UK market is key. She is an expert in the local nuances of international brand protection and her work includes everything from portfolio reviews and management, multi-jurisdictional clearance work, filing programmes and oppositions, through to infringement, dispute resolution and due diligence. Rowena has worked with clients of all sizes and across a wide range of sectors, but she has a particular passion for the F&D sector where she has worked with companies in confectionery, dairy, coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, meat and hospitality.
