Sabine Benoit is Professor of Marketing at Surrey Business School (UK) and the Australian National University and Director of the Competence Center for On-the-go Consumption (www.cc-otgc.com) supported by Lekkerland GmbH & Co.KG a European Wholesale company. In her research, she mainly focuses on grocery and convenience retailing and how technology changes the sector. Her work has been published in leading international Journals and has had a substantial impact on various retail organizations. She shares her knowledge in teaching and leads the Convenience Leadership Programme an executive education course offered at the University of Surrey in collaboration with the UK Association of Convenience Stores (ACS). Sabine is enthusiastic about the dissemination of her research results and regularly speaks at practitioner conferences. Recently she gave a TEDx talk about the future and the dark side of the sharing economy and operates on her own YouTube channel.
