Surplus Food Donations - City Harvest

City Harvest rescues food, people, and planet by preventing food waste, providing life-changing support to communities in every London borough through free food, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from waste.
We collect surplus food from retailers, distribution centres, farms, manufacturers, markets & wholesalers, film shoots and all parts of the hospitality sector, and deliver it to 350+ charities in every London borough.
Our recipients include homeless shelters, hostels, soup kitchens, mental health charities, community centres and kitchens, schools, family centres, children’s programmes, and domestic abuse refuges.

City Harvest can collect fresh, frozen, and ambient food. All vans have freezer and chiller capability. All food must be unopened and within its use-by date. City Harvest does not collect hot meals or canteen style food, open food or compromised packaging, food past its use-by date, and alcohol.

When the event closes at 4pm on Wednesday 23rd March please bring your donations to one of the collection points. The City Harvest and Montgomery Group Teams will be on hand to help. The organisers will be setting up 2 collection points at the IFE Hub (3739) & HRC Hub (T940).

The IFE & IFE Manufacturing Commercial Team are onsite throughout the events and are on hand to answer any queries you may have. We hope you've enjoyed exhibiting this year and it's been our privilege to bring the industry back together for the first time in three years.

If you've not already spoken to the commercial team about opportunities in 2023, from Monday we will open the floorplan to companies wishing to book into new stand locations for 2023, and availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.

All bookings for IFE and IFE Manufacturing made now will benefit from preferential rates and will have a cooling off period with no commitment until 5pm on Wednesday 6th April.

If you would like to discuss your involvement in 2023, please contact Daniel Gray here or come and see the team in the sales lounge on Stand 3391.
